ABOUT TOYO
To share founding spirit with all employees in TOYO Group, we asked Kawanoe high school to make elaborated design of the company policy.
Kawanoe high school calligraphy club expressed our company policy vividly and vibrantly.
The company policy is displayed at entrance of our head office.
Writing Scene (Provided by Kawanoe high school)
We develop supreme quality in three major paper functions “Write”, “Wrap” and “Wipe”.
Crafting cloth sheet which is origin of paper was discovered in Chinese historical remains. It was a map (Write) and a wrapping sheet for copper mirror (Wrap). To the present era, paper towels which we sell as our flagship products are must-items in daily life (Wipe). Those three paper functions are all necessary essence for current society and it is the reason that paper belongs to human life deeply. TOYO Group has sought possibility of paper and runs R&D for various markets.
We have been producing more than 1,000 items through “3W” fields. And we will invent more items for embracing “comfortable society”.
City of Kawanoe and Mishima (Currently Shikokuchuo city) is very famous as paper industrial area. Paper making in this area began in long ago and there are many paper manufacturers and paper-related companies with own uniqueness now. In 1949 Toyo Group was born in Kawanoe city then installed paper machines for “Washi” production. This is our origin. Since then, Toyo Group has diversified its business territory as full range paper manufacturer and still growing.
